The earth in front of the sun

Women of the World

by Francesca Aniballi

We are a web of words
A knot of arms
A chain of holding hands
Around Planet Earth.

Women of the World
We are seers in the dark
Healers, creatives and wise ones
Vision holders
Carrying the fruits of our truths
In our arms
Rippling like the Ninth Wave
Between the ocean and the shore.

Remember: we are one
No matter how they try
To divide us.

We are One and Many:
Many lives, many colours, many experiences
One great love:
The Earth and all its creatures
The children and the wild plants
The pebbles and the stars
The flowers and the bees
The elements of life
Forever sacred and diverse.

May we all come together, and sing.
